NAIDOC is a great week during which we, as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, celebrate ourselves, our culture and our communities. I think it is a shame that we don’t do this more often than once a year, so if you like music, I have written a write up of the Songlines NAIDOC Jam that I attended last week.
In the review there are links to the musicians so you can find out more about them. Also, Songlines have a monthly music night at Bella Union (Trades Hall in Melbourne) on the last Saturday of every month – hope to see you at the next one!
